10.3.2 Installation Workarounds

by Jul 25, 2019

We’ve received a lot of great feedback on 10.3.2 so far. As you may be aware, we’ve been experiencing server issues. The demand for 10.3.2 has been great, and we’re working on resolving the server issues as soon as possible.

Our IT team is hard at work restoring servers such as GetIt (for web based installation), Code Central (for downloads), Member services (for new account registration), Quality Portal (for bug reports), and Support. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Our recommendation is to wait a few more days until all servers are back in full capacity before installing 10.3.2. If you want to install immediately and are an existing customer, you can use the following cloud based ISO download link to download and install 10.3.2:

http://altd.embarcadero.com/download/radstudio/10.3/delphicbuilder10_3_2_496593b.iso

This offline installer can be used for any edition / SKU of RAD Studio, including Professional, Architect and Enterprise, and both Delphi and C++Builder. It is not supported for Community Edition.

We generally recommend that you use the same installer technology when installing a point release, so here are some tips if you currently have 10.3 or 10.3.1 installed with the GetIt installer before installing 10.3.2 with the offline installer:

Trial customers and new customers:

Update: Trial customers and new customers generally need to create a new EDN account on the members services website. The members site is now up and running, so you should be able to create a new account and install using the ISO link above.

7/29 Update: If you’re looking to install 10.3.2 add-ons via the GetIt Package Manager, please see https://community.idera.com/developer-tools/b/blog/posts/temporary-10-3-2-getit-server-for-installing-10-3-2-add-on-packages

[7/31/2019 Update: We have a new 10.3.2 GetIt web-based installer available for you to download. This new installer will allow you to install 10.3.2 and also access the 10.3.2 add-on packages via the GetIt Package Manager. You can access the installer on CodeCentralIf you’ve already installed 10.3.2 with the offline ISO installer and updated your registry setting as outlined here to point to the new GetIt server, no action is needed at this time.]
