FMXLinux is now available, but its only for Enterprise and Architect!
Screw Embarcadero! All Pro subscriber wont be able to use FMXLinux! WTF do they think? First no 64 bit MacOS until now, then this now.
Time to switch to something else, maybe Xojo, which support all of that, including MacOS 64 bit.
Linux was only available for Enterprise and Architect before, so it doesn't make sense to add the FmxLinux library to Pro since it doesn't have a Linux compiler.
Dear Jim, At one time, I was with great hopes that Embarcadero can have all this features ( FMX Linux...etc ) make available to C++Builder but after sometime, I slowly let go this desire and looking for alternative. It is not healthy for me to keep iterating why don't have this and that for the money paid.If there is Microsoft Visual C++ .NET form for Linux officially available, I will just use it for sure.I don't demand much from Embarcadero, but don't put a long gap like "one year" to have C++Builder supporting Android 64 and not even MacOS 64 bit support is made possible.
Honestly, I don't know how long I still have faith with Embarcadero, if Microsoft makes a move to promote C++ RAD in Linux, MacOS, Android and iOS, 200% I will migrate to Microsoft, checkmate.
I share your toughts. All what we pay for Delphi/CBuilder we should treat as "loyalty fees" but Embarcader/Idera politics is constantly leading to their own collapse - which is sad anyway.
