How to fix above error?, i have already allowed bds.exe both inbound and outbound in windows firewall
Found the fixes, somehow my winsock is corrupted?
in the windows command prompt (Admin)
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Unfortunately NO help for me.
Any other ideas to fix this errors?
It's a clean installation.
have you try to run the command above in the windows command prompt (Admin)? and also you need to restart your pc and re-run bds.exe / radstudio. Btw what is your windows version?7?8?8.1?10?.

Of course I did run in administrator mode and I did make the restart as suggested from the command when doing it. No help at all. After reinstallation so far I was not even able once to start Delphi.
I get that message all the time. in other words... 10.4 currently unusable for me.
Guess I keep on 10.3.3 until they may figure it out.
Update: after I did connect the Surface Pro 7 to the docking station I finally was able to start Delphi without that error. Well, the error still does come back now and then... but usually after an additional restart Delphi does now start... even with just Wifi. This 10.4 version seems to have some serious issues... Guess sounds like it's still Beta...
I have added this thread into my 10.4 bug report.
Glad to hear you managed finally to make it work.
Thanks, by the way my windows version is: 2004 (build 19041.264)
The same with me i am on Windows 10 x64 2004, these make it even weirder because on my part it's working fine with workaround above.
Did you use any 3rd party anti-malware or antivirus?
beside Windows Defender, no.
Ok, can you do these please, from supports:
1) do you need to reset the ip too? or JUST winsock?2) is there anything logged in your Windows Event viewer when this problem occurs?3) if you do "netsh winsock show autotuning" is autotuning ON or OFF?4) next when the error occurs can you do the following please:a) "netsh winsock show catalog >before.txt"b) then reset winsockc) "netsh winsock show catalog >after.txt"d) upload the files
