This happens when I choose Close All from the menu.
That's better than me. I get an Interface not supported, List index out of bounds, and Access Violation ... rtl270.bpl when I start the new version. Good thing I installed it on a new machine rather than my development machine!
The VCL version of Fast reports is looking for a dll. It screws up my 10.3.3 version as well. Not very useful at this point.Guess this is the BETA version.
I'm getting vcl270,bpl error just trying to run a valid project that is working fine in Tokio, an even XE5 versions
If you have turned off the option:
Tools > Options > User Interface > Form Designer > "Embedded Designer"
Then turn it back on. When not embedded I was getting an access violation in vcl270.bpl whenever closing a project.
This is not true... I've never turned it off and TURD studio always gives vcl270 access violations....I don't event have to close a project just the main form of the project. 10.4 is better in some ways but seems like it was rushed just to show off the shiny new LSP code insight which is marginally better. Pick any version of visual studio and it runs circles around RAD studio for stability, usability, features that actually work, productivity, and any other metric
Found a repetitive error-partial solution to vcl270.bpl, Access Violations, etc. The projects that I have running in older versions works fine until I compile them with 10.4. They are most 32 bits. If I change settings to build 64 bits target, most of the errors disappear. Donn't know why I have to buil 64 bits as mandatory to compiled - run Ok with Sydney applications that are fine compiled - run with previos versions of Delphi.

Co-lateral issue, some components I use do not have 64 bits version, so that is a problem for migrating to 10.4.
In addition some customers are still using 32 bits Windows versions, so I have to stay using Rio or older Delphi versions to compile .- deploy to them upgrades.

Interesting how even after installing patch #2 this problem still occurs.
