Getting timeout the last two days. Can't download updates.
I have the same problem? Anyone know the reason why?
Just found this on Twitter, posted 17 hours ago!
We are having server issues with a third party host at the moment. This is impacting downloads, installations, registrations, and logins. Our IT department continues to work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Hmm, 17 hours ago. Maybe they start to solve the problem on monday, it's weekend.
The download server (cc.embarcadero.com) had often timeout problems over the last months. So the problems are not unknown.Don't know why I pay so much for a subscription and then not able to download important updates. Such a poor service.
All servers are back online again
Yes, download of version 10.3.2 is running. It starts working an hour ago. As I predicted, they start fixing it on monday. No one is working there on weekends.
Looks like quality.,embarcadero.com is down now.
No, no problems reaching http://www.embarcadero.com here.
it is not www.embarcadero.com, but again qc.embarcadero.com, members.embarcadero.com, etc... Problem from few days ago is back :(
This is ridicolous - web install has problem like below. ISO installer does not allow to manage platforms - after installation there is no "Platform and Extensions Manager" link "start here" screen nor "Manage platforms" item in "Tools" menu.
Emba funded a good mess for us.
Beautiful, I uninstalled 13.0 in order to install 13.2 and now I'm left without an IDE. Then again, Embarcadero is a small 1-man-shop and we shouldn't expect too much for freeware. Oh, wait...
Now I am getting this lovely reply when logging on:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Borland.Data.TDBXError: Unable to complete network request to host "etnaedndb01.embarcadero.com:3048". Pure quality Service.
Same problem here. I thought they were updating the web site, clearly not. It is just not acceptable. Advertising the update and then not having the platform or adequate facilities to download it does not demonstrate a ‘professional outfit’ and I will think twice before renewing my subscription in August.
I'm surprised there hasn't been a shitstorm about it yet.
Your comment made my day
cc started working but it seems it is reverted from backup - it could explain 10.3.2 is missing in downloads.
I even started to wonder if I could help Emba/Idera to investigate their DB problems after seeing such error:
Sweet, now the domain has been back online for a while, yet all the 10.3.2 downloads are nowhere to be found.
That's weird. I wonder if they pulled it for some reason... maybe too many bugs?
