Attempting to install Delphi 10.3.2 and it fails to even get to the initial platform selection.
Downloading the IOS from their site is fine (around 10MB/second), forums and main site are fine too.
Any hints on what might be causing this ?
I can not log in to the download section for a few days. "Connection timed out".Probably Embarcadero has problems with servers.membwer.embarcadero.com/ - does not workcc.embarcadero.com/ - does not workembarcadero.com/ - worksMaybe your problem is related to the same.
Yes, I'm very sure it is the same problem. However, this is already for quite a few days and they don't seem to fix the problem. Now I can't even install my previous version, so I'm stuck !
I have the same problem.
I have the same problem!!!!
Embarcadero servers are down that's why you have that issue. Same old same old. Let's hope they don't stay down as long as the old forum servers did.
I was able to 'dl last night and install. GetIt is getting overwhelmed right now too, or like Niki said server could be dowm. Anyway keep trying, I think it's a very good update, seems much peppier....
What I find most striking is the fact that there is not even one statement from embarcadero on this topic. I don't think that this is the right way to treat their paying customers
I have a problem with access for more than two weeks, so let nobody say that this is a temporary problem. Poor embarcadero advertising.
same problema, 3 days now
Yes, same problem here.
You have a great hopes Paul, I had it for years, but no longer have it. Currently I am converting everything to Visual Studio. Really wanted to try 10.3.2 and see if the clang debugger is finally usable. Wait, that means I still have some hope. Thank you for wasting it again Embarcadero.
I have too much invested in it all, including two years of time, so I can't bail just yet. In any event best of luck to you Niki, feel free to email me if you like.
We have invested 15 years in them. Every single project is done with RadStudio/VCL. It's not an easy decisions, but we just don't thing we have choice in order to have a future. We need to move now to modern C++, and if the compiler/debugger is still not up to the task, that will be game over for us. Now I am converting our C++ code base to VS (almost done) and searching for alternative UI (not an easy task). Probably we will go with WPF and have mixed .net / native code implementation.
Honestly, I am really angry. It's such a waste.
Yeah that sounds like an incredibly hard decision, 15 years sounds like many many code hours. I definitely don't envy your task. Thanks for communicating with me about it all.
