Can you do something about styles too?In 10.4 thoses styles are missing:AquaLightSlate2.vsfGlossy2.vsfZirconSE.vsfA project uses those three styles, and it is an overkill to install Seattle, Rio, or Tokyo just to get those styles. Can you help me?
We are working to improve GetIt.
They aren't currently in GetIt, but you can get them directly from BitBucket https://bitbucket.org/gmurt/kscomponents/src
I've been working with SmartBear and trying to make it easier for our Tech Partners to add items to GetIt. In the meantime, you can get AQTime directly from SmartBearhttps://smartbear.com/product/aqtime-pro/overview/
hehe.. i switched to VS long ago.. AQTime, VisualAssist, GetIt-Offline-downloader, Edit&Continue..
Bump. Does anyone at Embarcadero know anything about AQTime?
Still can't see ksComponents in getit
GetIt is a nice idea and there a quite a few nice packages available. However, two main things are missing:
- Hosting a private GetIt server (to allow deploying internal packages or to "cache" official packages - when Embarcaderos servers are down again)
- A documentation about how to package and deploy our components (and sell?) to the GetIt server (it seems, that at the moment only Embarcadero partners are allowed to publish packages)
These points would allow making the GetIt infrastructure a marketplace and community platform for components - both for the open source and commercial side of things. Think about how node.js/npm created an ecosystem of packages and how that might extend the reach of RadStudio...
One more thing: Will the GetIt package dependecies bug finally be addressed (see https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-26771) anytime?
What version do you need to get the ksComponents? I have RAD Studio Pro subscription, but can't see it
Are both JCL and JVCL available under 10.4 then ? The new Free constraints was blocking the compilation of the installer.
When Embarcadero is planning to bring the Konopka Controls up to the high DPI 10.4 Styles standard ?
Hi Jim, will you be making AQTime available? We find this invaluable for improving performance. It was in GetIt in 10.2 but not since then.
