What is the status of C++ Builder for macOS x64?
Info on Android 64 for C++ Builder seems to be missing also
Please see the commentary blog post here: https://community.idera.com/developer-tools/b/blog/posts/may-2019-rad-studio-roadmap-commentary-from-product-management
What You all plan and wrote in Your blog, is a great mistake and let us leave no other choice, only to say 'Goodbye' to Your product after over 20 years since Turbo C..."One roadmap change you may notice for C++ specifically is that we removed macOS 64-bit and Android 64-bit platform support for this year. This does not mean that we will not add support for these platforms for C++ in the future (and we will support these platforms for Delphi this year)."Did You ever analized the consequences of this decision: All Android Apps written in C++ cannot be not even updated at least 1 year long after 9/1/2019?! No more choice for us to publish new Apps?! You had a lot of time since end of 2017 after Google announced the 64bit requirement! The SDK 26 implementation was also long - but not so long - after the timeline! For cross plattform C++ developers the main and most important feature of RAD Studio is the "multiplattform" coding. IT'S OVER. Congratulation.
I think and have to say straight-out: Embarcadero's development management doesn't know the requirements of there customers=developers. Please, let us know in a short time to be at least fair enough: Do You change the roadmap or we have to look for another product to be able to continue our production, because we cannot afford us to lose our customers, as EMB currently making.
This is unfortunately the end for Embarcadero. An alternative could be to migrate to Delphi, but our choise will be to migrate to another more mainstream and future proof IDE - Rad Studio cross platform we think is never going to work, turned to be the worlds most expensive mockup tool, and we do not intend to waste more time waiting for a perhaps. Especialy larger companies is not expected to take the risk on Embarcadero, so its dead Jim.
