Hi Sarina and David, thanks for the sharing. 1. From the Platform supported page, it seems 64bit MacOS and Android still not available, how can C++Builder users like me feels safe to install ? 2. Since 2019 November, the C++Builder cannot work with MacOS Mojave x86 without some header modification ( RSP-24292 ) and has the 10.4 release fixes the issues at RSP-24292 ? Is fun to know METAL API feature is added, but can I compile C++Builder 10.4 FireMonkey for Mojave MacOS 32bits at least ( all this must be mentioned on its supported platform page because often installed new version of C++Builder may has risk and cause some compile error ) ?3. A bit confused from the table of Platform supported page, Supported UI Frameworks FireMonkey is ticked under MacOS row but no MacOS 64bit under C++Builder column, this means what ? 4. Based on last ROADMAP, C++Builder 64bit for Android now left 1-2 months, and Google mentioned will remove our submitted extension on 1st August 2020 if no 64bits binary submitted. Please advise, how is the preparation of C++Builder 64bit for Android ?"I'm happy to announce that your 64-Bit extension request was granted! Also, please keep in mind that this extension will be removed on August 1st 2020 without notice and that no further extensions will be granted."I am small developer, during this COVID-19 season, the only source of income in the future merely from mobile store application development, to keep my personal job secured as I may lost job during the COVID-19 MCO period. At the moment, I still unsure how is the situation about C++Builder 64bits in MacOS and Android and feels no part related to me at the 10.4 release. Sometime, I am blurred, and Mr. David often mentioned he is hyper aware what we (C++Builder users) wanted but at least the basics like 64 bits MacOS, Android support are there at first before other features like C++ features, Debugger are in, this is to ensure our business is intact and continue running. In short, it seems C++Builder 10.4 unable to support 64bit for MacOS, iOS and Android development at the moment. I hopes, the next release 10.4.x has all above mentioned ready. Please advise.
I wrote about this also on the facebook page and the removal of support for Android makes the whole cross-platform equation a bit troublesome. Let's hope that at least 64-bit Android will come soon [and continue to be supported].
