Hi Lynne, I am not aware of this issue. Can you please submit a bug report at quality.embarcadero.com? Thanks
This update broke my mac apps. I'm using C++ Builder and everything I build on Mac (including brand new apps) is zoomed in to the bottom left corner - I can't scroll and changing the window size or maximizing doesn't make a difference. Windows works fine.I went back to 10.3.1 and the same apps build fine. The picture above shows the same app built using the different IDE's side-by-side.What is different in 10.3.3 that messed up scaling?
Thank you! Now it works!
Thank you! We are changing it already. We hope that Update Subscription provides plenty of value for people to keep current, so we have even fewer of these issues.
OK, thanks. You may not be aware the annoyance getting clarifications from Idera on this matter has been. One suggestion would be to change the email content support sends non subscription bump requests. Currently they just say a bump is not possible and close the case. What they need to say is "Sorry, if you are not an active subscription you must now email email@example.com for renewals. We apologize for this inconvenience". Or better yet, get them to CC sales in the reply?
There was talk about overhauling the bump system over the summer. Any chance of dumping this archaic system and implementing self bumping? Or self handling of installs. Give each user 5 concurrent installs. Allow them to "deregister" an install when moving to a new PC or reinstalling. That way support or sales does not need to be bothered and the bump process is instant. This is how Office 365 installs are handled. Copy their system.
If you previously requested a 10.3 Community Edition key and are unable to install 10.3.3 CE due to an expired license, you should now be able to request another 1 year 10.3 Community Edition license so that you can install 10.3.3 CE.
If you tried this a couple of days ago, and it didn't work, please try again now - it should be working now.
Hi, will AQTime be available with this release? It seems to be fairly random from one release to the next whether or not AQTime gets included. We find it exceedingly useful for finding performance bottlenecks.
I am not aware of this issue. Could you please log a report in quality.embarcadero.com?
This is when installing? It is likely that the file was corrupted when it was downloaded - perhaps some internet glitch or file corruption on disk. Can you try to install again please? You can also contact Support about installation issues.
Hi - trying to install 10.3.3 using the web install and get the following error:
c: \Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\20.0\bin\BDSLauncher.exe
An error occurred while trying to copy a file:
The source file is corrupted.
Hi - just attempted to do a web installed of 10.3.3 - and get the following error message. Tried repeatedly over two day period and get the same error. Please advise.
"What if I need a bump for a version that is out of maintenance? eg I have no subscription and need to activate an old version of Delphi? "
>>> In that case, we recommend that you contact either Embarcadero sales or the reseller partner, depending on who you usually work with.
Noted, thank you Sarina.
