Please explain to C++ Builder users what they must to say their customers, who can't run software made with C++ builder on macOS Catalina?
Hi Vasilius,We don't have C++ macOS 64-bit support at this time. We do support building C++ macOS 32-bit apps which includes building apps for macOS versions up to and including Mojave.
We're continuing to review requests from our C++Builder customers for macOS 64-bit support so that we can plan macOS 64-bit C++ support for a potential future release.
Android 64-bit support for C++Builder is targeted for 10.4.x per our latest roadmap update: community.idera.com/.../august-2019-delphi-android-beta-plans-august-roadmap-update
I'm one of those C++ Builder users too. Please put me down for MacOSX support!
Personally, I already fed up with the Embarcadero C++Builder support and really is not the way to treat C++ customers this way - one year gap to get 64 bit Android support and not even MacOS 64 bit ready ?Worst still, the sales agent from code partner called me up and don't even know I am C++Builder customer.Talk about Linux - Now, thinking to switch to .NET core 3.0 with Windows Form Development already:https://devblogs.microsoft.com/dotnet/introducing-net-core-windows-forms-designer-preview-1/#comment-3983The reason is, "FMXLinux" is limited to Enterprise RAD Studio ONLY, and the original developer of FMXLinux told me that there is no C++ version years ago before it is bundled with RAD Studio Enterprise. Please tell me a good reason not to switch to .NET core 3.0 Windows Form development ?If there is Visual C++ .NET core 3.0 Windows Form based for cross platform mobile and Linux, I am 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% committed to migrate as I am not going to pay money to receive PAIN.To Embarcadero or Idera, please do a DEEP CUT on C++Builder ASAP, don't give us (C++Builder customer) any hope or delay as the more I paid for the subscription, the more pain I received.Look at each broadcasted Embarcadero Blog article, how many responded ? If responded, is based on what blog article ? ( which blog article has the most commented statements ? ), by now Embarcadero should be aware and knows what to do.Please don't killing me softly.TQ.
