One of the focus areas of Embarcadero, besides working on RAD Studio and other products, is to improve the overall user experience. As part of this effort, we have been working to replace the old EDN (Embarcadero Developer Network) website infrastructure with a more modern and smoother experience.
The key areas we have been focusing on are the ability for customers to access the licenses registered with their accounts and download any file associated with these licenses. Keep in mind that the EDN accounts themselves are not going to change, preserving all of your histories. What we are providing is a new website replacing:
members.embarcadero.com for creating accounts, managing the password, listing the Embarcadero licenses associated with the account
cc.embarcadero.com for downloading registered users installation files, patches, and additional content
The new site offers the three features (accounts management, licenses, and downloads) with a unified web application and a side hamburger menu offering the three main options. The new website can be accessed at:
What is important to notice is that the site offers more data than the sites it replaces, specifically around update subscription. Each license, in fact, has an indication of the associated subscriptions and its current expiration date. Also, download permissions are separate for customers with or without an active subscription.
In the rest of this blog post, I’m going to offer a quick introduction, even if the website is quite intuitive to use. This is the initial Account Info page:
The second page offers license information and allows you to group the data, sort the rows, hide individual columns, and more. The Components column lists details of the license (for example, additional products bundled with a RAD Studio license). In this screenshot I’ve disabled the Serial Number column to hide that private information:
The third page includes all of the registered users' downloads (and some public ones) that the customer is entitled to. The content and the availability of each download depends on the license (or licenses) the logged user owns. This is generally a fairly long list, again with grouping and sorting enabled:
For each entry, you can select it to see additional information (a description, the MD5 checksum) and the actual download link:
Notice that each individual download page has a unique URL, which is the address we’ll publish when referring to a specific download file.
We do have many other enhancements under development that will further improve the user experience of this customer portal site.
A final note. We are currently planning to keep the older websites (members and cc) active for some more months, but would eventually disable them to focus only on my.embarcadero.com as the customer portal.

Does Embarcadero still want 3rd party developers to support our customers who have Delphi 2009, 2010 and XE? I only mention this because your new "My Registered Products" portal no longer gives us the ability to renew our serial numbers for these products so we can't run these versions of Delphi any longer. If you DON'T want us to support these products then please let me know and I will pass this information along to our customers that still have these products. Thanks.
A few suggestions for My Downloads section:
1. There is no Back button from the product details
2. It would be fine to have a filtering mode in My Downloads grid, for example to filter only Delphi product family.
3. Also a filter by text it would be nice.
How will this new system affect installs of old software, without subscriptions, to new computers down the road? One of my hesitations to get a new version of Delphi is that I don't use it often (sometimes years between), so the subscription isn't of interest. But if I used a new version and have a computer or drive failure and need to re-install Dellphi and register the installation down the road (to do something new or just to support something I'd written), it seemed that this might not be possible without buying a whole new copy. Is that situation solved with this? I can't get into a system where I'd be unable to support my own products without a big multithousand dollar re-entry fee!

We used to offer download for products without considering update subscription, this new portal allows us to more control and we'll clean up permissions over time. As for patches, we are making improvements in 10.4
My registered product is Delphi 10.2 Tokyo, my last available component is Delphi 10.3 Rio. The Subscription end date is 29-3-2019 and among my downloads I can see version 10.3.3 witch I can download and install, but I can't register. Why there is not a filter to see only my registered items? Btw this system of patches is annoying. Why can't Studio update itself without manual finding what is new?
Nice, but would have been nicer to have seen a solution made in Delphi. Everyone has JS solutions, but only Embarcadero has Delphi. Also, it looks like some of the information did not migrate well, such as my phone number that's full off cryptic symbols. Not only that, but the country drop-down does not search and there are other issues with input on this field. Then, when I try to save my changes the site throws some error and logs me out every time.
Hi Macro, I am in TAIWAN,there is no "State" option,When I update my registry data , It still display an error message. Please help me to solve the problem.
We have seen reports of the issue with Updates, and this is going to be fixed ASAP. If initial login fails, you might instead try to clean the cookies for the specific domain (my.embarcadero.com). There is a known issue if you have visited the site in the past. We'll also continue to add features and improve the UI. Suggestions in the comments have been noted. If there is missing data, instead, it might be your licences are associated with different accounts. Feel free to ping us or one of your sales contacts directly
I had exactly the same problem. Immediately after sign-in, "Account Info" is shown. When I click "Update" there, a "Success" box briefly flashed, but was immediately replaced by an "Error" box with text "Unknown error". This exact same error has been found when using Firefox, Chrome and Edge on 3 different PCs.
Sorting should take into account the expanded size. Now 1 GB is less than 1.07 MB.
New portal looks great! However, I just tried to update my email address - it raised an error and went back to the login prompt.
The "Subscription End Date" column is blank. Even though I have this information elsewhere, this would be a rather convenient column to have populated. Is it supposed to be populated or is that coming at a later date?
The site asks me to update my profile information and then crashes and asks me to log in again.
New portal looks great. Is there a specific reason I do not see older licensed
