No, but there is a known issue where after removing a windows system, the service may not properly start the first time. Did you try starting it a second time?

I am getting Lost Connectivity (Server not seen) after manually updating the collector agent on some of my servers.
Have restarted the service, but it still doesnt resolve the problem.
