I have several scripts that execute code based on winform dkalogs. These perform database queries or execute Power Query M-code [based on control selections in the form and clicking the Execute button] and can take some time. I have included pop-up messages in the scripts but they are all time controlled to appear for x-seconds.... I have looked for examples in Powershell to create a "Please Wait" "Processing data..." that would appear and last throughout the script execution. I may be missing something obvious, but would appreciate any guidance on a procedure to follow.
Maybe not optimal, took winform code out of function, added the processing code to add_click() event; hid the cancel button; changed the title to "PROCESSING... Please Wait". Works fine.
