I have about 600 documents that are stored in folders on a network share. I need to copy all of the files to a sharepoint site and the folder names have to become the metadata for the document. Can this be done using Powershell? I never used powershell for something like this so I'm kind of stuck on this.
jan -- (Folder)
Sales Summary - (folder)
salessummary.doc -- (file name)
so when the file gets uploaded to sharepoint, Jan and Sales Summary need to be metadata for the salessummary.doc file
