Also unveiled at the conference was Microsoft’s .NET Core 3 Preview 1 code, which adds support for building apps using WPF, Windows Forms and XAML Islands.

This would bear out to mean VSCode and PSCore soon to have GUI capabilities along with this and big missing piece for many still sticking with Windows PowerShell specifically because of not having this feature set.
