Hello all, I have one question.
Is possible to run powershell script file .ps1 as login script in active directory environment? Because when I put for example login.ps1 as login script in profile tab of user account, this doesn't work (powershell script editor opens ). I must call this script from .bat file but this is not gracefull solution.
Any ideas ???
When I change default opening program for .ps1 files to powershell it works, but thats not enought for me.
Well, that's pretty much the way it is intended. Login scripts run with whatever the file association says to run with.
Thats not good, because if someone is local administrator, even in domain, he is able to change file association. That can be abused, so only way is to call the script from bat file like this:
Well, that same admin could change the association for bat files too. This is not a problem with powershell. It is a problem with users.
I think it's impossible to change association for .bat files it's the same like .exe or .com I think. They can only run.
