I go to look at the Windows Application Logs and I see this error: Product: IDERA SQL Diagnostic Manager (x64) -- Error 27506.Error executing SQL script SQLdmDatabaseInstall.sql. Line 3970. ALTER TABLE ALTER COLUMN reportText failed because one or more objects access this column. (4922)
Can anyone explain what the issue is here and how to fix it?
Hi there! I, honestly, haven't seen this error before. Obviously, there's a problem updating the repository using the built-in script. I would probably suggest trying to (1) restore the db prior to the upgrade attempt and then (2) use the repository install/upgrade script to manually upgrade the repository to see if the issues happen that way as well. If not, then you should be able to run the installer like normal and hopefully, it should work then (hopefully because there are some other additional scripts that the installer will try to run in some cases). The script can be located in the Scripts subfolder of your installation kit directory (it's the directory where you extract the installation files into).
IMPORTANT: Be sure to follow the instructions at the top of the script. There are a few things that you'll need to "find and replace" to match your repository database name.
