KB: How to check which Microsoft .NET Framework versions are available in Windows?

To check which Microsoft .NET Framework versions are available in Windows:

  1. Select “Windows Desktop > Start”.
  2. In the “Start” menu, type “OptionalFeatures.exe” or “Turn Windows features on or off”, and select the “OptionalFeatures.exe” or “Turn Windows features on or off” entry.
  3. In the “Windows Feature” dialog, refer to the “.NET Framework” entries.
