I tried to publish the model in team server from er studio client but the status is showing as 'Partial Success'. Could someone help me why it is showing ?
I'd check the box on the left of this project and try to publish again.
Then if it is still the same status, I'd check the logs to see what triggers the errors:
Due to partial success some objects are loaded, and the model is also present with those objects but not able to migrate to Collibra
I think you should first try to solve the issue with the Partial Success to get a status: Published
Maybe there are currently some missing objects due to the partial success which prevent the synchronization with Collibra to work properly.
If you submit a case to the support regarding your Partial Success, with the Synch Log, I'm pretty sure they can help you to fix the issue.
For downloading logs we need permissions ?
No you don't need any specific permission. You just need to log in to Team Server and then, you can download the file:
but it shows me a message that ' You dont have permission to download logs' .
Okay, I found why I can download the logs...
The user I used to test was a Repository Super User without specific rights in Team Server.
As mentioned in the documentation, he had all permissions: https://docwiki.embarcadero.com/TeamServer/ERStudio/en/Overview_of_User_Roles
So, I removed it from the Repository Super User and retried and got the same message as you got.
Then, I had the user to the Team Server Administrators and I can also download the logs.
TLDR: To download the logs, the authenticated user needs to belong to the Repository Super User or(/and) Team Server administrators.
thank you William !
The windows user must not have "Deny log on locally". What it means ?
Without context, it's pretty hard to know.. but my guess would be that it should work if you are connected with your browser on the server itself instead of a remote desktop?
but I have tested with a localhost connection and I can't download the logs from the Team Server User Interface if I'm not part of Administrators
