Postgres Reverse Engineering error The Parameter is incorrect

I downloaded latest version of ER Studio last week.

I downloaded latest version of Postgres last week.

I can connect from ER Studio via ODBC on my local windows PC.

ER Studio can see the objects available. I select the tables I want reverse engineered. It goes through them all it appears (as script flies by).

However right at the end it pops up an error 'The parameter is incorrect'.

I unchecked all 'options' such as drive relationships from indexes etc so it becomes the most basic reverse engineer of tables only. No matter - same error.

Thoughts?

  • I'm having the same issue. This table is not able to be revers engineered:

    The column names are:

    AH PLAN AMOUNT SOURCE IDENTIFIER
    FORM NUMBER
    PLAN LETTER
    EMERGENCY CARE BENEFIT AMOUNT
    RECORD ARCHIVAL DATE
    RECORD ARCHIVAL FLAG
    RECORD START DATE
    RECORD DELETE DATE
    RECORD DELETE FLAG
    RECORD END DATE
    RECORD CREATED BY
    RECORD CREATED DATE
    RECORD LAST MODIFIED BY NAME
    RECORD LAST MODIFIED DATE
    RECORD HASH KEY
    SOURCE CODE

The first column, AH PLAN AMOUNT SOURCE IDENTIFIER, is obviously the longest and it is 32 in length. I'm using DA version 19.1

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
