My 'Overview Window' in ER Studio Data Architect is not appearing.

Some time ago my 'Overview Window' in ER Studio Data Architect (v17.1.0) stopped appearing.  I don't know what I did.    I've tried toggled the 'View > Overview Window' (F9) back and forth, but nothing.   What am I doing wrong?

  • Please contact support with these types of questions.  They can walk you through it.  If you are running dual monitors, perhaps you moved it and it's showing thee.

  • Almost certainly it is stuck off-screen due to dual monitor setups.  If you are comfortable deleting a few registry keys, the entries are at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Idera\ER/Studio Data Architect 18.2\Settings

    Delete the OVERVIEW_WINDOW_* entries, restart ER/Studio and it will come back.
