Embedded SQL Virtual Database Technology
SQL Safe Backup expands its coverage with the inclusion of the functionality of SQL Virtual Database. SQL Virtual Database lets database administrators get instant access to data in full, differential and log backup files without requiring the additional time and space to restore a database. This direct access significantly reduces the time for data recovery while also increasing productivity and reducing resource requirements.

Native backup format support for backup and restore operations
SQL Safe now supports the native SQL Server backup file format in addition to the SQL Safe Backup file format. By including support for the native backup file format, users can continue using the format they are accustomed to while also taking advantage of SQL Safe's policy-based management. Policy-based management defines and automates backup, restore, and log shipping schedules across multiple databases, servers, and server groups.
