On behalf of the entire Aqua Data Studio team, we’re excited to announce the release of Aqua Data Studio version 20.0 with major enhancements in the following areas.
We have extended our Platform Support to include Embarcadero InterBase and Snowflake!
InterBase is a full-featured, high performance, and small-footprint relational database that software developers can embed directly into their software applications. With InterBase’s encryption you get incredible flexibility and access control. InterBase can encrypt data stored in the database, transmitted across networks, and stored in database backups.
Snowflake is a SQL Data Warehouse built for the cloud. Snowflake has created its own architecture that is different from other warehouses. It handles all aspects of data and analytics. Aqua Data Studio’s implementation supports this architecture.
These users will now have access to a first class IDE that covers InterBase and Snowflake for the first time. This also further strengthens the value of Embarcadero's RAD Studio Architect Edition, which comes with a license of InterBase and Aqua Data Studio to provide a more complete DevOps solution.
Aqua Data Studio will provide InterBase and Snowflake data warehouse users with the following specific benefits listed below:

Hello again Shaun, I did verify the InterBase connection will not work with Firebird. You can try the generic ODBC or JDBC connection and see if that works.
Hello Shaun, Aqua Data Studio does not support Firebird at this time. I will submit this as an enhancement request. As a work around, we do have other customers who have used the generic ODBC connection. You could try the InterBase connection as well and change the port number, etc and see if that works . I would recommend connecting to other Aqua Data Studio users on our community forum, they might be using Firebrid in their environment and would have more insight. https://community.idera.com/database-tools/databasedevelopment/aquadatastudio/
Hello,
Aqua Data Studio version 20.5 is anticipated to be release Q4 of this year (2019). Of course, it has to pass Quality Assurance testing. We are in testing now. There are extensive bugs and added support for new Platforms in this release.
If you have open support issues, this information is gathered as we set priorities for each release. You may contact me directly with any futures or questions regarding releases at [email protected], I am always looking for feedback on what our customers would like to see included in the product. Our past release schedule is located here at this link: https://www.aquafold.com/aquadatastudio_whats_new
Aqua Data Studio has a community where we discuss these type of issues as well. I have provided the link, if you are interested in joining.

How often are Aqua Data studio releases coming out? When is the next one? I am on 19.5.1 because this release has no features or bug fixes for me. Version 2.0 came out nearly 5 months ago and I have a paid license so I was expecting releases to be far more frequent than this. I have raised a bug in the past with the horrible "go" separator which puts many of my team of the product, instead they use datagrip, and also the weird bug where column aliases (renamed columns in sub/superqueries) are ignored in the grid output.
How is the Firebird 4.0 support in ADS?
Not in this release.
Are there any bug fixes or features other than snowflake and interbase?
