When doing a Compare and Merge in SQL Server, although I'm selecting the option for 'lnline defaults', I'm still getting DDL to create the default objects. Is there a way to eliminate this from the generated DDL? The DDL generates like this, but the CREATE DEFAULT is unnecessary. I've tried unchecking the object types in the Tools | Options Object Types tab, but it seems to have no effect on the Compare and Merge:
CREATE DEFAULT dbo.[N for No / False] AS 'N'go
CREATE TABLE dbo.mytable(mycol char(1) DEFAULT ('N') NOT NULL)go
Are you able to bring a default constraint into a physical model using model compare or add new physical model? That's not working for me with a SQL Server 2016 database.
